The Little Mountain Housing Project was built in early 1950′s and Vancouver’s oldest and highly successful social housing complex. In 2007, the BC government embarked on an aggressive and mean-spirited plan to demolish it. A number of the tenants with the support of the neighbourhood surrounding the project protested the demolition of the well established community.
